SU! Regional training day 2010

The day before we left for Hamilton Island was the Stampin’ Up regional training day in Brisbane. An awesome opportunity to get together with fellow demonstrators catch up, swap ideas and learn lots.

Here is a shot of some of Madonna Dunn’s team ‘Mad Inkstincts’ which inlcludes us little ‘Stampdragons’ with our fearless leader Megan Hayes.

One of our members, Kirsty Brown, even got up on stage to demonstrate how to make some very cute paper flowers. If you’d like to see some shots of them head on over to her blog (’cause the photos I took didn’t turn out!!!) I may even get a chance to attempt a couple myself this week??? I’m also hoping to do a challenge or two and start to show you that top ten list I mentioned earlier?!?

Wish me luck 🙂

New Stampdragons

Where have I been???? Well a few places actually-Wollongong, Byron Bay, Brisbane, but now I’m back.

Thought I’d share with you some quick gifts I made for some friends who have decided to join our stamping team-  the Stampdragons.

These two notebooks are on their way to Mandy and Toni. I think you can probably figure out who gets which one by the initials on the covers……

Mandy’s was made with some of the gorgeous Cottage Wall DSP  but I didn’t have any SU paper with black on it so I had to substitute some patterned paper from another stash for Toni’s.

  • Cardstock – Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black, Kraft, Whisper White, Cottage Wall DSP, non SU paper
  • Ink – Rich Razzleberry, Orchid Opulence, Basic Black, Versamark
  • Stamp Sets- Cottage Garden, Best Yet
  • Other- Big Shot and Big Shot Alphabet, Stamp-a-ma-jig, wide oval punch, circle punches, vintage brads.

Hello world!

Well here it is……. my first excursion into blog land!!!! I have been talking about doing this for a while, and have been surfing everyone else’s blogs for a long while, so now it’s my turn.

Being part of the Stampin’ Up family has been a great experience. I love being part of such a fun, passionate group who love what they do and love to share it with others. Being a Stamp Dragon as well as part of the awesome Mad Inkstincts team has changed my life, who knew there was so much you could do with paper, cardboard and ink????

Thanks for dropping in……..let’s see where we go from here 🙂
