Flowers???

Well- ANZAC afternoon, Steve is at the pub playing two up, boys have a friend over to play with so they’re busy, and I can escape to the stamping desk!!!!

But where to start????? I’ve been lucky enough to have 4 free stamp sets arrive this week and it’s time to have an experiment so I headed over to the Just Add Ink site for some inspiration. (Awesome place to find a challenge as well as oooh and aaah over other people’s stuff AND it’s Stampin’ Up colours/stamp sets AND it’s Australian!!!) 🙂

I decided to have a go with their most recent colour challenge- Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip and Barely Banana, and this is what I came up with,

I know- FLOWERS!!!! Where did that come from?? First pink and now flowers……I’m in danger of turning into a girl LOL          Not sure how much I like the finished product, the words are a bit hard to read in the photo but they say  ‘love life and it will love you back’, but I did get to use 2 of the new sets- Scribble This and Cottage Garden.

  • Stamp Sets- Scribble This, Cottage Garden
  • Card Stock- Chocolate Chip, Kiwi Kiss, Barely Banana, Whisper White
  • Ink- Chocolate Chip, Kiwi Kiss, Barely Banana
  • Other- Chocolate Chip DSP, Aquapainter,Watercolour paper, Sponge, Dimensionals
